Kintai Bridge Festival - April 29th (at Kikko Park near Kintai Bridge in Iwakuni): Costume Parade, Samurai Re-enactments, Drums, Food & Drinks.

Flower Festival - May 3-5 (Peace Park in Hiroshima): a parade which includes dancers, marching bands, and performance shows.

Friendship Day - May 5th (on base at MCAS Iwakuni): Air Show, Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Rally, Car Show, Live Entertainment/Music, and Food & Drinks.

Cormorant Fishing - June 1st to August 31st (at Kintai Bridge): A longstanding tradition of night time fishing using trained comorants to catch the fish for you!

Goldfish Lantern Festival - August 13th (Yanai City): Colorful lanterns adorn the city.

Iwakuni Festival - 3rd Weekend of October (Downtown Iwakuni Rt. 188 between Iwakuni Station and Fuji Grand): Marching bands, dancing, drums, and food.
